Mr. Durden has 18 years of experience in the areas of criminal law, civil litigation, consumer bankruptcy law, real estate litigation, immigration law, estate planning, and tax law.

In his criminal defense practice he has represented hundreds of accused individuals in the District and Superior Courts of Massachusetts from arraignment to trial.  He has experience with cases involving homicide, assault to murder, rape, armed robbery, drug trafficking, drug possession, drug distribution, gun possession, 209A violations, larceny, kidnapping, and other criminal violations.

Prior to founding the Durden Law Office, P.C., he was as associate attorney at the law firms Bingham  McCutchen, LLP (2002 - 2004) and Donovan Hatem, LLP (2004 - 2006).  

Mr. Durden received his Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School in 2002 where he was a Harry N. Wyatt Scholar and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics, magna cum laude, from Northeastern University in 1998.


He is admitted to practice in all courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts, and the United States Tax Court.  He also has experience with cases before the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
